Ruth Haney Roe of Loveland formerly of Portsmouth. Beloved wife of the late Herman Roe. Loving mother of Priscilla (Cliff) Belden. Devoted grandmother of Joshua Sliker and Landon Sliker. Dear step grandmother of CL (Kimberly) Belden IV and Laura (Kevin) Billman. Proud step great grandmother of Aleigha, Addison, Harper, Holden, and Leisel. Cherished daughter of the late Walter and Alma Haney. Caring sister of the late Emil Haney, the late Berl Haney, the late Irene McKenzie, and the late Clyde Haney. Passed away May 9, 2014 at age 97. Ruth attended Nursing School at Mercy Hospital in Portsmouth, Ohio. She also attended Ohio University. Ruth was board certified as a clinical laboratory technologist. She was an US Navy Commissioned Officer. Ruth was employed by Mercy Hospital over 40 years in Portsmouth, Ohio. Family and friends will be received from 10 AM - 12 Noon on Monday, May 12 at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140, where services will be held at 12 Noon. Graveside Services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, May 13 at Lewis County Memory Gardens in Vanceburg, Kentucky.
