Ruth Ann Penquite, 94, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on October 24, 2024, at the Laurels of Blanchester.

She retired from Goshen School District in 1990 after providing 19 years as a dedicated teacher.

Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Eli Penquite; parents, Willis and Blanch (nee Curl) Hitesman; siblings, Hazel Monjar, Wilma Hitesman, Paul Hitesman, and Catherine Bordell.

She is survived by her two children, Becky (Greg) Hemmer and Melissa Penquite; two grandchildren, Caitlin (Nick) Kessler and Andrea (Scotty) Kern; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Kessler, Emmaline Kessler, and Eve Kessler.

The funeral will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of service.

Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Fayetteville, Ohio.
