Ruth J. (nee Jones) Spurlock of Milford, OH. Born on August 25, 1929 in Corbin, KY. Went home to be with the Lord on December 15, 2018 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Lee Spurlock. Loving mother of Skeeter (late Donna) Spurlock, Debbie (Dennie) Robinson and the late Patty Hook. Mother-in-law of Butch Hook. Caring grandmother of David Hook, Brian (Anita) Hook, Jeremiah (Sarah) Spurlock, Jessica (Brian) King, Cody Robinson and Jared Spurlock. Proud great-grandmother of Austin (Sydnie) Hook, Baylee Hook, Alyna Hook, Leam King, Levi King, Colin Robinson and Lilyauna Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson. Dear sister of Lois McFadden, Hettie Gray and the late Pauline Bryant, Lena Daniels, Lewis Jones, Clara King, Irvin Jones, John Jones, R.B. Jones and Hazel Prewitt. Cherished daughter of the late Edmund and Mary (nee Amburn) Jones. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 5 PM to 7:30 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will follow at 7:30 PM. A Graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 20 where friends and family will meet at 1:30 PM for procession beginning at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, Goshen. Interment, Greenlawn Cemetery, Milford, OH. Rev. Victor Burkhart of Riverside Missionary Baptist Church will be the minister for Ruth's services.
