Russell "Russ" F. Batterson of Milford, OH, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2025, at the age of 83. Russ was born on November 1, 1941, in Cincinnati, OH to Percival and Alice Batterson.

Russ was the beloved husband of 42 years to Elizabeth Jo (nee Craig) Batterson, loving brother of Janet (Ken) Caufman and the late Nancy Jane Elo and Kenneth Batterson, cherished son of the late Percival Franklin and Alice Mary (nee Budke) Batterson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Russ was a 1959 graduate of Highlands High School. He then went on to Eastern Kentucky and earned his associate's degree in electrical engineering. For the next four years he attended Purdue University where he earned a master's degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Cincinnati Milacron in research and development and went onto the ESD Division, where he retired from in 2001. Russ was a member of the Milford Masonic Lodge No. 54. He was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Milford, OH.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, September 13 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 5767 Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Rd., Milford, OH 45150.
