Russell Frank Ruehrwein of Batavia, OH., passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 76. Russ was born on March 20, 1948, in Cincinnati, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan Lynn (nee Rosser) Ruehrwein; three sons, Russell (Tammy), Randy (Vickie) and Rob (Skylar) Ruehrwein; seven grandchildren, Collin, Lauren, Clay, Aaron, Taylor, Kolby and Kade; one sister, Bev Froehlich; one brother, Gary Ruehrwein; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Russell Milton and Jeanette Alma (nee Snyder) Ruehrwein; and sister, Jean Kohl.

Russ proudly served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM on Monday, December 30 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, December 31 at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St., Dayton, OH.
