Ruby Pearl (nee Roaden) Yates of Mt. Carmel, OH, went home to be with the Lord after a long illness on March 9, 2024, at the age of 88, surrounded by family. Ruby was born in Corbin, KY, to the late Terrell and Betty (nee Wells) Roaden.

Cherished wife of the late Harold Glenn Yates for 68 years. Proud mother of Elizabeth (Mark) Johnson, Glenna (Bob) Uecker, Garry (Christine) Yates, and Mark (Vid) Yates. Loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 6 brothers and 1 sister. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Ruby was an employee of RCA and Buskin Bakery. She was president of Allison Elementary PTA. Ruby was an avid bowler and gardener. She was a faithful longtime member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday, March 22 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 1 PM on Friday. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
