Ruby B. Bowman-Dixon, born February 1, 1928, in Jackson County, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on April 20, 2025, at the age of 97.

She was the beloved mother of Shirley C. (Donald) Van Winkle, Debra (Kenneth) Robinson, , Clayton (Tammy Gragg) Bowman, and Brad Bowman; loving grandmother of Jennifer R. (Dan) Abney, Greg VanWinkle, Shelby VanWinkle, Kenneth D. (Chrissy) Robinson, and Lindsey N. (Aaron) Clark; great-grandmother of 12; great-great-grandmother of 21; dear sister Virdy Isaacs; cherished mother-in-law of William Boerger.

Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, Howard B. Dixon; first husband, Daniel B. Bowman; son, Rudy Bowman; daughter, Paula Boerger; granddaughter, Tabitha M. Robinson; parents, Jeff and Margaret (Speirs) Jackson; three brothers and five sisters.

The funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM at the Clarksville Pentecostal Church of God, 7098 State Route 350, Clarksville, OH, where friends will be received from 10:30 AM until the time of service.

Interment will take place at Edwardsville Cemetery.
