Roy Prater, Jr., of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on February 6, 2020 at the age of 63. Born on August 12, 1956 in Middletown, Ohio, son of Roy and Oma (nee Blevins) Prater. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Prater; father of Scott (Amy) Prater; stepfather of Adam (Carly) Higginbotham; grandfather of Callie and Oliver; dear brother of Sonia Hall and David Prater; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Prater. A memorial service will be held at 6pm on Friday, February 14, 2020 at the Blanchester Church of the Nazarene, 10451 State Route 28, Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will gather from 4pm until the time of service.
