Rosella Gabbard, "Sister Mickey" of Blanchester, OH was born December 23, 1935 to Sherman and Elsie (nee Warren) Shope and passed away December 22, 2019 at the age of 83. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. She enjoyed gardening and going to church. She attended the Midland Holiness Church and recently Fellowship of Praise Church. She is survived by her children, Pam (Curt) Davis, Sherri (Rick) Godwin, Rick Gabbard and Randy Gabbard; grandchildren, Doug (Julie) Davis, Andrea Davis, Neil Godwin and Eric Godwin; great grandchildren, Elijah Davis and Benjamin Davis; brothers, Hershel (Ruth) Shope and Glenn Shope. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Delbert Gabbard; brothers Russell (Alice) Shope, Norman (Buelah) Shope and Wilbur (Mattie) Shope; sisters, Thelma Shope and Sue Shope. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday December 28, 2019 at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester, OH 45107, where friends will be received from 10 AM until time of service. Interment Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, OH.
