Obituary

Ronald F. Taylor Jr., 81, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully at his home, Monday, May 4, 2020, after a valiant battle with Renal Carcinoma. Ron graduated in the class of 1956 from Parkersburg High School in his hometown of Parkersburg, WV. Ron held a big place in his heart for his favorite golf course, O'Bannon Creek Golf Club of Loveland where he had served as President of the Club. However, his first love was his Boys Scouts. He was an active member of Troop 3 of Parkersburg, WVA until the day of his death. He had a great love of the outdoors, scout camping trips, and he always thought of each boy as his own. His greatest love, was his wife of 60 years, Anne (nee Goudy), his son Douglas (Suzanne Thompson) Taylor, his daughter Nancy (Jim) Rocha, his grandchildren Lauren Taylor, Kathryn Taylor, Abby Rhea, Mitchell Buyck, Sarah (Wesley) Hood, Jeremiah Rocha, Joshua (Megan Ridings) Rocha, his great grandchildren Amelia and Charlotte Rocha.
