Brotherton Ronald R. Sr. of Loveland. Beloved husband of Esther (nee Padgett) Brotherton for 64 years. Dear father of Ronald (Gloria) Brotherton, Jr., Dorothy (David) Christian, Garry(Carol) Brotherton, Terry(Stephanie) Brotherton, late Steven Brotherton, Audrey (Ross) Crouch, Joseph (Carol) Brotherton, Celine Brotherton and Mark Brotherton. Grandfather of 29 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and adopted granddaughter, Dezirre Marker and raised foster child, Marlene Hedger. Also 6 sisters, 3 brothers, many uncles, aunts, nephews and nieces and cousins. Passed on May 6, 2011 at the age of 84. Born at home in Reading, Ohio. He joined the United States Navy at the age 17 years old. He fought in five invasions in the Pacific during World Warr 2. He joined the Naval Reserve and Army Air Force after he finished his tour of duty with the US Navy.
