Roger L. Nelson of Blanchester, OH. Born on November 2, 1947 in Logan County, WV. Passed away on March 16, 2018 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Carol Jean (nee Watkins) Nelson. Devoted father of Jenni (Mike) Etherington and Jessi (Gary) Branam. Loving grandfather of Christine, Myles, Bryce and Azalya. Dear brother of Gene (Donna) Nelson, Loma Carol (Bob) West, Darlene (Danny) Watson and Chip (Charla) Nelson. Cherished son of Joda (nee Watkins) Nelson and the late Zion Nelson. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Roger proudly served in the United States Navy. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 20, at 11 AM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will follow at 12 Noon.
