Roger G. Hicks of Maineville. Beloved husband of 62 years to the late Rosalee (nee Patton) Hicks. Loving father of Patricia Ann Hicks and Roger Wayne (Kimberly) Hicks. Son of the late Gobel and Maudie Hicks. Dear brother of Darlene Thompson. Good friend of Charlie Taylor and Del Everett. Also survived by his granddogs Molly and Ruby and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 4 sisters. Passed away January 21, 2022 at the age of 87. Roger retired from GE. He was a US Army Veteran and a member of the Loveland Emery Lodge #258.He enjoyed buying and selling at the Caesar's Creek Flea Market and also enjoyed fishing. Friends will be received Thursday, January 27 from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held Friday, January 28 at 11 AM. Interment Maineville Cemetery. Donations, in Roger's memory, may be made to Myles Ahead Animal Sanctuary and Rescue.
