God called Roger home on April 27, 2023, at the age of 91. Born December 8, 1931, to Roger W. Sr. and Mary Agnes Dickerson. Beloved husband to JoAn for 67 years. Loving father of Roger W. Dickerson 111, J. Paul Dickerson and Carol (Jim) Nordloh. Proud grandfather of Jimmy and Jack Nordloh and Spencer and Garrett Dickerson Janning. Dear brothers, Harry (Mary J), Frank (Joyce), Terry (Pam), Joe B. (Deceased), and sister Mary Agnes (Jim) Russell and 3 deceased sisters: Benita (Harold), Ann (Bud) and Betty (Bob). He graduated from St. Joseph Prep Bardstown, Ky and earned a MSME from the University of KY. He retired as Director of FDA's Milk and Food Research Laboratory.

Roger enjoyed many hobbies and interests in retirement. He played a fierce game of table tennis, researched his and JoAn's genealogies, did car maintenance, kept the job jar empty and spent quality time with his grandchildren. He and JoAn traveled to 48 states and Europe.

Roger was our rock. He was always there for his family. He lived a good life and often said he felt blessed to have had such a good life. If you knew him you know he treated everyone with honesty, respect, and kindness.

Visitation will be at 11 AM on Monday, May 8 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 12 PM at Good Shepherd Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd. Montgomery, Oh. Memorials may be made to Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Missions Nazareth, KY, or charity of your choice.
