Roby Jacobs was born on March 18, 1931 in Lincoln, Kentucky, son of Hugh and Bertha (nee Sowders) Jacobs. He passed away on November 2, 2020 at the tinder age of 89. Roby was the youngest and last surviving child of Hugh and Bertha, who preceded him in eternal rest. Through his years in this world, he served in the US Navy, worked numerous laborer jobs, had his own used car dealership in Kentucky, "Jakes Auto Sales", dabbled in real estate, traded in antiques and farmed. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Ruth (nee Cromer) Jacobs, two sons, Angelo Jacobs and Danny (Julie) Jacobs; a granddaughter, Julieana; numerous nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Friday, November 6, 2020 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funerl Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 11am until the time of service. Interment will take place at Blanchester IOOF Cemetery in Blanchester, Ohio.
