Skirvin

Robert Kenneth Skirvin

Born in Carthage, OH, in 1951 and raised in Loveland, OH, where he spent most of his life, Robert "Bob" Kenneth Skirvin peacefully passed from our world while surrounded by immediate family at his home in Mason, OH, and was welcomed by the Lord on November 23, 2022.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy, and is survived by his beloved wife Nancy; sister Patricia (William) Sujkowski of Toledo, OH; son Nicholas (Jessica) of Anderson, SC; daughters Amelia (James) Lewis of Soddy Daisy, TN; and Sara (Dennis) Reffit of Amelia, OH; stepchildren Ashley (Brandon) Hoehn of Castle Rock, CO; David (Rhea) Smith of Menifee, CA; Travis (Hayley) Smith of Germantown, OH; grandchildren Katherynne, Colson, Allison, Zachary, Emily, Brianna, Nora, Winston, Kirsten, Kiera, Cooper, and Summer; sister-in-law Marsha Pohl of Philadelphia, PA; nieces Jill Sujkowski Wenz of Maumee, OH; Jenni Sujkowski of Maumee,OH; Erin Pohl of Philadelphia, PA; nephews Jack and James Wenz of Maumee, OH; and his faithful companions, Abby (the lab) and Simon (the Siamese cat).
A 1969 graduate of Loveland High School, Bob was a man of many talents, but foremost a teacher of life, love, and joy to his family and all who knew him. Strangers were a brief rarity for Bob, as all whom he met quickly became friends. Both in his professional life and in retirement he enjoyed travel and was a voracious consumer of history.
Never lie, unless it's to save a friend
Never cheat, unless it's to cheat death
Never steal, unless it's to steal another's heart…the way Nancy stole mine
