IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Raymond
Reiners
October 17, 1952 – December 23, 2023
Robert Raymond Reiners, known affectionately as Bob to his friends and family, passed away peacefully at home on December 23, 2023, in Maineville, Ohio, at the age of 71. Born on October 17, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio to George and Alice Reiners. He is survived by his son, Eric (Heidi), along with his grandsons, Luke, Colt, and Alec. Dear brother of Mike (Mary Jo), Allen (Pam),
Diana Guy, and Mary Gale Madden, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Judy Mor, Donna Schmudde, and Marlene Botts.
Bob grew up in Cincinnati and was a proud alumnus of Nativity and Purcell High School, where he formed life-long friendships, graduating in the class of 1970. After high school, he proudly served his country as a member of the United States Marine Corps, serving in the Vietnam War. He embodied what it meant to be one of the few and proud. His time in the service instilled in him a sense of discipline and honor that he carried throughout his life. Following his service, Bob embarked on a career as
a skilled welder at United Air Specialists, where he dedicated many years of service until his retirement.
An avid outdoorsman, Bob found solace and joy in the simplicity of nature. He was happiest when he was fishing or hunting, activities that allowed him to pass on his love for the outdoors to his son and grandsons. Teaching them the finer points of casting a line or the patience required for the perfect hunt, Bob passed on not just skills but cherished memories that will endure for generations.
A friend to many, and a mentor to those lucky enough to have known him, Bob's stories, often filled with laughter, adventure, and wisdom, will be missed by all who had the pleasure of listening. He had a knack for finding the funny in every situation, and his laughter was infectious. Bob's spirit will continue to live on in the stories he told, the wisdom he imparted, and the laughter he shared. His life was a journey well-traveled, and a story, well-told.
