Beloved husband of Evelyn Richardson Nichols, dear father of Elden Ralph Harris, Danny (Linda) Harris, Rhonda (Jerry) Gabbard, Renae Spence, Ramona (Brian) Gabbard, caring brother of Jake, Sonny, James, Harley, Barbara, Mary, Margie, Jean, and of the late Larry, Peggy, Lillian, and loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren.
