Robert Kinley McGuire Sr. of Hillsboro, OH passed on April 25, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born in Cincinnati, OH on November 22, 1946, to Kinley W. and Virginia Ann (nee Huber) McGuire.

Bob was married to Cathy Sue (nee Spaulding) McGuire for 12 years. Loving father of Greg (Lonna) McGuire, Robert (Crystal Hagar) McGuire Jr and step-father of Jeffrey (Katie) Palmer, Ryan Palmer and Andrew Palmer. Proud grandpa of Logan (Krista) McGuire, Kyle (Abbie) McGuire, Devin (Kathryn) McGuire, Madison McGuire, Chloe McGuire, Kennedy Palmer, Maddox Palmer, and Adelyn Palmer. Great grandfather of Zowey, Tyler, Madelyn, Wyatt, Kadyn, Wyatt, and Salem. Brother of Melvin (Lynn) McGuire and Patrick (Bonnie) McGuire. He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Bob is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Sue (nee Pierson) McGuire and parents Kinley W. and Virginia McGuire.

Robert proudly served his country in the United States Army in the 101st Airbourne in Vietnam, Korea, and Germany. He retired from R&L Carriers after 25 years. He loved bowling and riding his motorcycle.

The family requests that memorial donations in memory of Robert Kinley McGuire be made to Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses. Donations can be made by clicking on tribute fund.

Friends will be received on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 6-8pm at the Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St. Blanchester where a funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2, at 11am. Pastor Larry Gee is officiating.
