Proud G-pa of Anna, Maggie & Lily May, Lauren, Lindsay & Drew Altemuehle, Piper, Avery & James May, and Patti Erickson. Dear brother of Michael (Mary Ann) May, Richard (Jane) May, and Kathleen (John) Neff. Cherished brother-in-law of Cory (Jessa) Ireland, Tim (Lisa) Ireland, Maureen (Glenn) Johnston, and George (Rose Marie) Matusak. Proud to be an uncle to Maureen (Paul) Swift, Caryn (Jon) Jenkins, Corynne (Dillon) Frees, Colleen Swift, and Cade & Quinn Jenkins. Survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Passed away November 7, 2023 at the age of 83.

Born in Buffalo, New York, to educators Robert and Eleanor May, Bob lived a life of learning. A firm believer in hard work, he had a successful career with M&M Mars, followed by a second career as a Home Builder at Ireland-May Ltd., where he was instrumental in creating homes with historic character and beauty. More than anything, Bob lived a life of devotion – to family, friends and his faith. He will be missed by many but will live on as a reflection of those whose lives he profoundly touched.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 PM on Saturday, November 11 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N Riverside Ave, Loveland, OH 45140 [google.com]. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Monday, November 13 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45249. Interment Hopewell Cemetery.
