Loving father and father-in-law of Debbie and the late Allen Vanover, Verna Schuler and the late James Schuler, Patty Davis, Bobbie and David Proctor, Claudia and Andy Mattingly-Sims, Cathy and Eric Berchtold. Devoted grandfather of 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren. Dear brother of Laura Bell Rolfes, Gladys Dunaway and the late Opal Farmer, Juanita Wittenberg, Nora Mae Busch, William Mattingly, and Jay Mattingly. Passed away April 17, 2019 at the age of 86. U.S. Marine Corp Veteran and member of the Goshen Masonic Lodge #119. Friends will be received Thursday, April 18 from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where funeral services will be held Friday, April 19 at 10:00 AM.
