Robert "Bob" J., Jr. of Lancaster, NH, age 60, passed away on Saturday, November 3, 2007. He was retired from the United States Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Bob was a Radioman aboard the riverboats of Mekong Delta; where commendations for achievement and valor summarized his distinctive service. He was a devoted shipmate, a concerned father, and a good friend to those near to him. Bob leaves behind three daughters, two brothers, and two sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Phyllis Marcotte, and a younger brother, Chief Electronics Technician Ronald J. Marcotte, USN. Graveside Services will be held at 2 P.M. on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at Dayton National Cemetery, VAMC, 4100 W. Third Street, Dayton, OH 45428. Inurnment to take place at Dayton National Cemetery. Family has also held services in Lancaster, NH where the scattering of his cremains took place in the New Hampshire Mountains.
