Obituary

Robert Paul Habig of Forest Park, formerly of Loveland. Beloved husband of 32 years to Clara (nee Knuckles) Habig. Loving father of Renee Habig, Tammy Burrows, Lana (Joshua) Havens, Cassandra Habig and Robert M. (Tosha) Habig. Proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Ginger Rampino, Peggy Wardle, William Habig and the late Barbara Smith. Passed away June 3, 2019 at the age of 71. When very young, Bob served as an alter boy at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church, followed by years at St. Catharine Catholic Church. He later graduated from Elder High School after being drafted into the military, where he served in the U.S. Navy. He then worked for Cincinnati Bell for 29 years. Friends will be received Tuesday, June 11 from 6:30 - 8:30 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 12 at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Rd., Loveland. Interment with Military Honors at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
