Robert E. Slocum of Blanchester. Beloved husband of Evelyn Conover Slocum, dear father of Daniel L. (Jo) Slocum, Gerald M. (Hope) Slocum, and the late Richard (Mara) Slocum, caring brother of Wilbur C. Slocum, Alice Faye Anderson, and the late Mary Ellen Dell, and Helen Slocum, loving grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. September 24, 2002, at age 79. He served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was member of the American Legion Post 179 in Blanchester, Ohio. Memorials to American Diabetes Association.
