Robert D Albright (July 10, 1935 - August 24, 2018) age 83 - Bob Albright grew up in Centralia, Illinois. He was the son of Arthur and Ruth Albright. He graduated from Centralia High School and then attended Washington University, where he was a proud member of Sigma Nu fraternity, and the Washington University Law School, from which he graduated in 1959 with a Juris Doctor (JD) degree. He was married July 23, 1960. He practiced law his entire career, first as an Assistant States Attorney in Pekin, IL, and then in private practice in Salem, IL. He was a member of the Marion County, IL, Bar Association for over forty years before retiring in 2002. In later years, Mr. Albright spent his winters in Yuma, Arizona, and his summers on his beloved Maine Seacoast. Mr. Albright was a precinct committeeman and an active member of the Republican Party, his church(es), and was a coach for his kids sports teams. He was a lifelong baseball fan, particularly of the St. Louis Cardinals, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, swimming, gardening, painting, airplane modeling, and playing his banjo. Mr. Albright died Friday morning, August 24, 2018, at the Heritage Springs Rehabilitation Center in West Chester, OH. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeanette, who now resides in West Chester, OH, their two children, Robert Jr. of Edina, MN, and Julie Albright (Haas) of Mason, OH, and their four grandchildren, Evelyn and Benjamin Albright and Eleanor and David Haas, who will all miss their spouse, dad, and grandpa very much! A memorial service will be held the afternoon of November 17 at Salem Lutheran Church in Salem, IL with a celebration of Bobs life to follow.
