Husband of the late Ruth Agnes Schadler. Loving father of Robert G. "Bob" (Gloria) Gillespie, Richard T. "Terry" (Diane) Gillespie, Robin K. (Don) Browning, Ross "Kevin" Gillespie, and the late Rhonda Gillespie. Devoted grandfather of Michelle (Doug) Pennington, Michael Gillespie, Angela (David) Kuhn Christopher Gillespie, Matthew Stromgren, Adam Browning, Jacob Browning, and Christopher Worley. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Army Air Corp during World War II as a Tail Gunner on a B-17.
