Robert Lawrence Curry, 84, of Blanchester, Ohio, passed away on September 16, 2023, in Wilmington, Ohio.

Born March 26, 1939, in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Robert E. Curry and Mary Carroll.

He enjoyed bowling and working in his garden. Robert was a long-time member of the local IOOF lodge and continued to serve others as part of the American Legion.

He was the beloved father of Robert A. (Erin) Curry and Paul J. (Becky McCurdy) Curry; loving grandfather of Tyler (Zoe) Curry, Brianna Curry, Jenna Curry, Hannah Piatt, and Isaac Piatt; proud great-grandfather of Gunner Curry, Finlee Curry, River Curry, Zane Curry, and Makenzie Curry; dear brother of Ruthi Curry, Ruby Currie, Paul Carroll, Robert Curry, and Ronald Curry; close friend of Ruth; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Roberta V. (Shrack) Curry; grandson, Cameron Curry; sisters, Linda C. Sopjack, Judith A. Keener, Rebecca J. Miklas, and Cynthia Pollock; brothers, Leonard Curry, and John F. Carroll.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
