Robert L. Cornelius of Loveland. Beloved husband of 64 years to the late Selma E. (nee Adkins) Cornelius. Loving father of Roger (Renee) Cornelius and Norma (Chuck) Middlekamp. Cherished grandfather of Jason (Megan) Cornelius, Amanda Nelson, Jessica (Larry) Grundy and Emily Cornelius. Great grandfather of Lulani, Mirabelle, Nolan, Porter, Summer, Dylan, Ashton and Chase. Great-great grandfather of Alakai. Many step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. Dear brother of Jan (Wayne) Hoobler and the late Blanche Hamblin, Jean Meadows, Glenna Moore, Elvis Cornelius, Bill Cornelius, Ancil Cornelius, Richard Cornelius, Howard Cornelius, and Dave Cornelius. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Passed away September 13, 2023, at the age of 88.

Robert was a proud veteran of the US Navy. He and Selma enjoyed going to nursing homes where they would play guitar and sing.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, September 18 from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will be held at 12:30 PM. Interment with Military Honors at Graceland Memorial Gardens.
