IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert "Bob"
Coe
April 25, 1943 – January 14, 2026
Robert "Bob" Coe, age 82, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 14, 2026. Bob was the loving husband of 60 years to Margo (Calabria) Coe, and a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth and humor touched everyone he met.
Born and raised in Chicago, Bob was a proud graduate of De La Salle High School. During his school years, he worked as a stock worker at Woolworth's, where he met the love of his life—Margo. They married in the summer of 1965, sharing six decades of partnership, devotion, and family.
Bob proudly served his country in the United States Army as a Sergeant in the Military Police, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas. Following his military service, he began a long and successful career with Continental Can Company, starting as a lithographer and working his way up to Plant Manager. His profession led the family from Chicago to New Jersey, Boston, and ultimately Cincinnati, where Bob and Margo have made their home for the past 30 years.
Bob was devoted to his family and friends. He was the cherished father of Angie (Brian) Folwarczny and Jeff (Linda) Coe, and the proud and loving grandpa of Drew (Melina) Folwarczny and Nick Folwarczny. He was the dear brother of Judy McCafferty, and the late Richard Coe and June Cepicon, and great uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Bob loved music, movies, and sports, and was a lifelong, die-hard Chicago Bears fan—thrilled to see them finally defeat the Packers in the playoffs—a moment he truly enjoyed. He also enjoyed fishing and golf and never missed an opportunity to tell a good story about either. Known for his great sense of humor and quick wit, Bob loved entertaining and had a remarkable gift for making people laugh and feel at home.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, January 23, from 9:45–10:45 a.m. at St. Columban Catholic Church, 894 Oakland Road, Loveland, Ohio 45140, where a Memorial Mass will be held immediately following the visitation.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or American Cancer Society .
