Robert "Bob" J. Calahan, age 92, passed away on Sunday, July 10, 2022. He was born August 20, 1929 and raised in Mount Carmel, OH. Son of the late Joseph D. Calahan and Loretta (Reichling) Calahan. Loving father of Charlene (Chris) Carver, Nancy (the late John) Garrison, and Steven Calahan. Proud grandfather and great grandfather to many. Beloved companion to Shirley Strickland. Also survived by his sister Ruth (Robert) Hallisy and brother Donald (the late Martha) Calahan. Preceded in death by his sister Jeanne (Robert) Vorhis. Bob moved to Louisiana in 1980 and retired as an internal management consultant for the State of Louisiana, Office of Telecommunications Management. Prior to that, he was the Management Information Systems (MIS) manager for the City of Cincinnati Regional Computer Center. After retirement, Bob moved to Diamondhead, MS and used his talents in serving his church for several years. A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 5767 Wolfpen Pleasant Hill Road, Milford, OH.
