Robert Knuth, born July 5th 1929, in Worthington Minnesota to Charles and Hazel Knuth, lived his youthful years working for his Father at Knuth Electric. Upon graduation from high school, he attended the University of Minnesota, studying engineering, deciding to return to Worthington and married the love of his life, Dorothy Fischer, August 19th, 1950. Bob was a wonderful Father, avid golfer and a grandfather that beamed with pride when he talked of his seven grandchildren. He and Dorothy made every effort to attend their events as they grew from young children into adulthood and Bob took great pleasure that his grandson's all shared the passion for golf that he too was passionate about!
His enthusiasm for golf began in early adulthood, enjoying golf outings with Dorothy in their younger years. Upon retirement he has played in local golf leagues and developed many friendships that have attested to his heart felt devotion to Dorothy. His dedication and commitment to her, whom he cared for above all else, was a testimony of his character as a person we all loved and admired. Bob is the beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Fischer) Knuth. Loving father of Stephen Knuth, David (Beth) Knuth, and Cheryl (Eric) Scholz. Proud grandfather of Jamie (Andrew) Prather, Daniel (Katie) Knuth, Wesley (Sarah) Knuth, Rebecca (Brad) Bailey, Lauren Regueyra, Tyler Regueyra, and Nicolas Regueyra. Great grandfather of Owen, Adelyn, Vivian, Ezra, and Melody.
