Ricky Allen Moses of Pleasant Plain, OH., went home to be with the Lord on March 1, 2026, at the age of 65. Ricky was born on July 3, 1960, in New Castle, IN. to Walter and Mary Moses. 

Ricky was the beloved husband of 42 years to Relda Mae (nee Boyd) Moses, loving father of Darrell Moses and the late David Moses, proud grandfather of David James “DJ” Moses, Darrell Lee Moses Jr., Zachariah Layton Moses and the late Myah Moses, dear brother of Tina (Gregory) Boone and the late David William Moses, brother-in-law of Linda Boyd and Betty (Steve) Duvelius, son-in-law of John Boyd, cherished son of the late Walter and Mary (nee Brown) Moses. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, relatives, and many dear friends. 

Ricky proudly served in the United States Army. Ricky had a lifelong passion for mechanics. Whether he was tuning up small engines or restoring cars in the garage, he loved the challenge of understanding how things worked and bringing them back to life. He loved NASCAR, cheering his favorite drivers on as they raced toward victory. 

Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Friday, March 6 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon on Friday. The interment will take place at Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH.
