Rickie
Wilson
June 10, 1957 – April 28, 2026
Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home
6:00 - 8:00 pm (Eastern time)
Rickie Wilson, 69, of New Richmond, Ohio passed away on April 28, 2026, from a severe brain injury that was caused during an automobile accident. Rickie was born on January 10, 1957, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Betty (Moore) Davis and Charles Wilson.
Rickie is preceded in death by his sister, Carol; daughter, Ray Jean and granddaughter, Samantha. Rickie is survived by his wife of 29 years, Selena Wilson. He is the brother of Terry (Richard), Dennis (Brenda), Kenny (Kim), Hank, Chuck, Mickey and Tonya (Leo). He is the beloved father of Tony (Crystal), Sarah, Kari, Ronnie, Nicole, Joshua, Jacquelena, Jillian and Michael. He is the beloved Grandfather of Kaylin, Chelsea, Haley, Heather, Sonya, Rickie, Jordan, Brooklyn, Layla, Emily, Leah, Ronnie Jr., Isaac, Shelby, Rylyn, Peytyn, Carter, Kayden, Ryker and McKinley. He is the beloved great grandfather of 19 great grandchildren.
Rickie loved nothing more than being a father, grandfather and great grandfather. Rickie was a truly remarkable man, a shining example of kindness, generosity, and selflessness. He was the proud owner and operator of A-1 Painting, a business he built through hard work and dedication. Rickie was loved and adored by everyone that he came across. His personality was like a magnetic field. He made everyone around him feel not only special but loved and cared for. He would give his last bit of money to absolutely anyone who was in need that he crossed paths with. Rickie was a very positive bright light for his family and since he has passed, the light has dimmed as we all mourn the amazing man that he was.
Rickie is leaving behind a family that he not only raised but took the time to pass on the same values and morals that were instilled in himself by his parents. He taught them to have faith in their decisions, that family comes first and to love unconditionally. Rickie always taught his children that mistakes were okay to be made if you learned something from them, to be humble, loving, generous and kind, but to also be sensible, to stay firm in their beliefs and to embrace life. Rickie showed each one of them how it felt to be loved and showed them how they should be loved. He also always taught them the importance of being exactly who they are and not apologizing for the path that they decided to embark on.
A Celebration of Rickie's Life will be held on Friday, May 8th from 6-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland.
