Went to be with his Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ whom he loved, adored, and served in his life, Sunday October 16, 2011 age 92.. Husband of the late Edna Poe (Nee Jarvis). Beloved brother of John C. Poe and the late Ernest D. Poe and Harold S. Poe. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends. Richard served his country with pride in the United States Army Air Corp./ Air Force. Richard was the owner operator of Poe Excavating. Richard will forever be known for his work in the construction of many ponds, lakes and excavation projects over the years.
