Loving father of Richard Ray (Ginny) Futrell III, Mary Christine Monhollen, Nicole Lynn (Jason) Griffis, Travis Lee (Jeny) Futrell. Caring Papaw of Richie Ray IV, Jacob, Trevor, Danny, Madison, Jake, Mason, Rose, Ziggy, Madeline and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Betty (Jim) Rice, Brenda (Tom) Ihle and Donna (Glen) Taylor. Cherished son of the late Richard Ray Sr. and Mary Rose (nee Partin) Futrell. Special nephew of Lena Gerhardstein and Shirley Street. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends. Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Richard worked hard, played harder and lived life to the fullest. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 7:30 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 5 PM until the time of service. SW Ohio VFW Memorial Team service will begin at 7:30 PM followed by the funeral service.
