Richard L. "Dick" Herd, Jr, age 83, passed away August 3, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Ruth (nee Beckley) Herd. Loving father of Richard "Rick" Herd, Robin (Ken) Shields, Robert Herd, Rae Leigh Holderbaum and Ron (Tammy) Herd. Proud grandfather of nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary Busch and the late Dorothy Mitchell and Charles "Mike" Herd. Dick loved to golf and keep his hands busy with projects in and around the house. Friends will be received Wednesday, August 8 from 10-11 AM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland, where funeral services will follow at 11 AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
