Age 79, of Cincinnati, Ohio, was called home on Friday, October 15, 2010. Born September 11, 1931 in Lancaster, Missouri to the late Claude and Thelma Martin. Richard is predeceased by his sons Richard E. Martin II and Michael P. Martin of Ocala, FL. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Patricia Ann (Bryant) Martin of Liberty Township, OH; sons, Rick L. Martin of Lancaster, MO and Mark A. Martin of Ocala, FL; daughters, Rhonda Tarr of Edina, MO, Dixie M. Martin and Claudia L. Setty of Ocala, FL; sister, Betty Ann Martin Hill (husband Eugene) of Birmingham, AL; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Richard retired from the Police Force at Crystal River, Florida before relocating in Ohio in 2003. He had been a member of the Police Force in Florida for more than 35 years before retiring in 1993. For many years he was employed by the City of St. Peters At the time of death Richard was a resident of the Butler County Care Facility. The family is grateful for the care given by staff and Hospice during his stay.
