Richard "Dick" D. Allen, 82, of Blanchester, Ohio went to be with Lord on August 27, 2015. Born on June 8, 1933 in Blanchester, Ohio to the late Clarence and Marguerite (nee Rinehart) Allen. Richard was passionate about playing the organ. He played at the First Baptist Church of Blanchester and in 2002 he was Grand Organist for the Grand Eastern Star. He was the beloved brother of Roxanna (Donald) Roberts and the late Sandra Smith and Charles F. Allen; Uncle to many nieces and nephews; Dear friend of many. Friends will be received on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 5-8pm at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home, 120 W. Main St., Blanchester, Ohio 45177. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at 11am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Second Creek Cemetery, Blanchester, Ohio.
