Myke was born in Minneapolis, MN where he graduated from Roosevelt High School, he proudly served in the Navy, played basketball and baseball for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers, and graduated from the University of Minnesota. He then entered the General Electric Company FMP and went on to serve on the Corporate Audit Staff. He retired as a Finance Manager at GE after a 37 year career.
Nothing was more important to Myke than his family. He considered he and Marilyn's greatest accomplishment to be raising their children to be educated, responsible and morally upright. His biggest joy was seeing them go on to raise the grandchildren he adored.
Every chance he got he spent time with his kids and grandkids playing golf, cheering on the Reds, fishing, reading to them, visiting Hilton Head and cheering them on at their baseball, basketball and soccer games.
