Richard Chawn Cragwall, 57, of Blanchester, Ohio went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on November 11, 2023.

He lived a full and meaningful life, serving his country and his God with unwavering dedication. His favorite Bible verse was the first verse he memorized as a kid—Proverbs 3:5-6. His last piece of advice to Ella and Jacob was, "Keep your eyes on Jesus and everything will work out. Let Him be your rest and comfort."

Chawn leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Teri Cragwall; children Ella (Brandon) Clarke, Jacob (Lauren) Cragwall, and Tyler McLaren; grandsons, Cash Clarke, Finney Clarke, Malachi Cragwall, Jeremiah Cragwall, and baby Cragwall due in April; father, Richard "Dick" Cragwall; siblings, Carl Cragwall, Michael (Sarah) Cragwall, Misty (Jamie) Jones, and Rebecca (Mick) Flynn.

Chawn was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine "Cathy" Cragwall.

Although we will miss him dearly, we take comfort in knowing that Chawn, aka Pops, lived a life of service, faith, and love.

Rest in peace, Pops, and know that you will always be remembered with love and gratitude.

The funeral service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 120 W Main St., Blanchester, Ohio, where friends will be received from 10am until the time of service.
