Richard Clarence Benney of Loveland. Loving father of Shon Benney (Suzanne) Geddes. Proud grandfather of Jordan, Julie, Anna and Benjamin Geddes. Great grandfather of Abby and Amelia Geddes. Son of the late Clarence and Jane (nee Holt) Benney. Beloved brother of Jane Ann (Ralph) Robinson, Gayle (Harding) Dawahare, Steve Benney and Diane (Bud) Coale. Dear uncle of six nieces and nephews. Special friend of Robin Baker. Passed away September 1, 2020 at the age of 76. Richard graduated from The Ohio State University and was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He loved to write poetry and also enjoyed archaelology, nature and gardening. A graveside service will be held Friday, September 4 at 1:30 PM at Union Cemetery, 9323 Union Cemetery Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249.
