Richard "Dick" Barron of Cincinnati. Dick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin May 10, 1929 to his late parents James and Lydia (Mergener) Barron. He is preceded in death by his wife Patricia J (Hickey) Barron. Loving father and father-in-law of Paul J. & Kimberly A Barron, Colleen M. & Ronald Schultheis, Jimmie & Leah Barron. Devoted Grandfather of Brooke Barron, Hillary (Scott) Laffin, Mackenzie Barron, P.J. Barron, Christopher Schultheir, Charlie Schultheis, Jimmie Barron, Nickolaus Barron, Casey Barron, and Lola Barron. Great Grandfather of Millie Laffin, Heidi Laffin, Parker Barron, and Xander Barron. Dear Brother of the late Shirley Riley and James Barron. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Dick graduated from Marquette University in 1952. He flew his first plane at the age of 15. Dick retired from General Electric after many years of service. Dick was an avid sports fan, Moeller High School Football Fan and enjoyed sailing and boating at his lake home in Wisconsin. Dick passed away surrounded by his family Wednesday May 17, 2023, age 94. Friends are invited to attend a visitation at Tufts Schildmeyer Family Funeral Home Wednesday May 24, 2023 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Mass of Christian Burial All Saints Catholic Church, 8939 Montgomery Road Cincinnati Thursday May 25, 2023 at 10:00am. Dick will be laid to rest in Gate of Heaven Cemetery next to his late wife.
