Very Reverend Paul Bassett of Montgomery, passed away May 24, 2014. Rector Emeritus of St. George Russian Orthodox Church in Loveland. Survived by his wife Barbara Bassett; daughters Martha (Robert) Baier, Mary (Andrey) Anishchenko, Susanna (John) Oakley and Andrea (Walter) Zabaglio; 11 cherished grandchildren; father Preston Rogers (Josephine) Bassett; sisters Ellen (James) Meadors and Sarah Bassett and niece Zoya Seubert. Preceded in death by his mother Harriett Greene and sister Martha Bassett. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 27 from 5-6:30 followed by the Service For the Departed at 6:30 p.m. at St. George Russian Orthodox Church, 118 N. Lebanon Rd., Loveland. Funeral service will be held at the church on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Presided by His Grace, Bishop Peter. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. George Russian Orthodox Church.
