On January 21st at 1:05pm the Angels of the Lord came and carried James E. McKinney, son of the late Robert and Anna McKinney, from his residence of Goshen, Ohio into the loving arms of Jesus. He went home peacefully surrounded by those he leaves behind. His Sweetheart and wife of 58 years Dorothy (Allen), and his 4 children. . Loving father and father-in-law of Deborah and Timothy McGlone, Richard and Susan McKinney, Melissa Campbell, and Natalie Gregory. Devoted Grandfather of 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. He also leaves behind 3 sisters, 1 brother, 5 brothers-in-law, and 3 sisters-in-law. James Earl was a minister of the Gospel for over 50 years, Pastoring the Goshen Church of God for 40 years until his retirement. James leaves behind a legacy of "Fighting the good fight of faith" to all of his family and many numerous friends. Family and friends may pay their final respects to James on Sunday January 24th 3:00pm 7:00pm at Goshen Church of God 1675 Hill Station Rd. Goshen, Ohio 45122, where a service will be held Celebrating Rev. McKinney's Life Monday January 25th at 11:00am.
