Raymond Eugene Wells of Goshen, OH. Passed away on March 1, 2022 at the age of 77. Born on February 14, 1945 in Cincinnati, OH. Beloved husband of the late Judith Kathleen (nee Seiter) Wells. Loving father of Gregory (Tina) Wells, Martha (Randall) Vesper and Jackie (Mike) Cole. Caring grandfather of Miranda Wells, Gordon Shank, Michael Wells, Jennifer Vesper, Sabrina Vesper, Daniel Coffey, Justin Coffey, Cortney Cole and Casey Kirby. Proud great-grandfather of Sophia Lynch, Hayleigh Wells, Derrick Gibson, Jaxon Jones, Vivian Shank, Rhett Shank, Georgia Shank, Aria Coffey, Olivia Coffey, Luca Staggs and Clinton Davis. Dear brother of Barbara Allen, David Griffis, Dodie Baston, Bill Wells, Pat Wells and the late Janet Evans and Donald Griffis. Cherished son of the late Wilburn Kenneth Wells and Ethel (nee Hale) Griffis. Step-son of Pat Wells and Donald Griffis. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends. Ray proudly served in the United States Navy. He loved going fishing, camping and watching boxing, basketball and Nascar. Ray enjoyed most loving and being with his family. Friends will be received from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Monday, March 7 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will begin at 12 Noon. Interment, Graceland Memorial Gardens, Milford, OH. Memorial donations may be made in memory of Raymond Wells to the American Cancer Society, 2808 Reading Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45206 Pastor Larry Lambes will be the minister for Ray's services.
