Deacon Raymond J. Kroger, Sr. Beloved husband of 65 years to Mary Margaret (nee Medeweller) Kroger. Loving father of Linda (Anthony) Miller, Lois (Paul) Reis, Kristina (Dan) Neyer, Raymond (John Dierig) Kroger, Jr., Anthony (Ann) Kroger and the late Mark Kroger. Proud grandfather of Jenny (Travis) Small, Kathy Miller, Mark (Melissa) Reis, Gina (Richard) Bautista, Becca (Corey) Mason, Halle Kroger, Ian Kroger, Emme Kroger, Zachary (Ashley Corbett) Neyer and Amanda (John) Kladakis. Great grandfather of Brooklyn, Tucker, Gigi, Miller and a great grandson due in 2022. Dear brother of Mary Ann Gibbs and the late Joseph Kroger, Emily Kroger and James Kroger. Brother-in-law of Donna and Marilyn Kroger and Edna Briggs. Passed away September 30, 2021 at the age of 85. Ray was ordained in the third deacon class by Archbishop Bernadin at St. Peter & Paul Cathedral Cincinnati on July 3, 1982. He started his ministry at Holy Family Church in Price Hill and continued his ministry for over 30 years at St. Margaret of York Church. Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 6 from 5-8 PM at St. Margaret of York Church, 9499 Columbia Rd., Loveland, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday at 11 AM. Private interment St. Joseph New Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mark Kroger Scholarship Fund at Purcell High School or to St. Vincent de Paul at St. Margaret of York Church.
