Raymond "Ray, Jake" J. Dixon Jr. of Amelia, OH. Born on May 23, 1946 in Jamestown, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2017 at the age of 70. Beloved husband of Cathy L. (nee Headley) Dixon. Loving father of Jamey (Kelly) Dixon and Lee (Jessica) Dixon. Caring grandfather of Afton Dixon, Michael Lindsley and Bruce Lyons. Proud great-grandfather of Lilly Lindsley. Dear brother of Louetta Lewis, William Dixon, Kenneth Dixon and the late Lloyd Dixon and Ronald Dixon. Cherished son of the alte Raymond J. and Romona (nee Kayser) Dixon. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Raymond proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 26, 7:30 PM at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where friends will be received from 6 PM until the time of service.
