Raymond E. Diss of Loveland. Beloved husband of 52 years to the late Janice Marita Diss. Loving father of Tim (Tina) Diss, Cindy Rayburn, Tricia Diss, Betsy (Jay) Heekin, Rob (Crystal) Diss and Jimmy Diss. Proud grandfather of Angela, Abigail, Emily, Michael, Bethany, Chris, Wyatt, Adalynn, Garrett, Carter, Lexi, Jordyne, Kloe and Jimmy. Great grandfather of Phoenix, Milo, Rory, Evelyn, Leo, Owen, Rian, Melody, Ruby, Henry, Andrew, Kathryn, Aria and the late Phoebe. Dear brother of Judy McCracken, Pam Ramsey and the late Don Diss and Joe Diss. Passed away August 7, 2022 at the age of 76. Ray enjoyed going to Bluegrass festivals with Jerry and Susie Conn and enjoyed shooting with Terry Baker. He served on the Maineville Fire Department for 17 years and was the Chief of Confined Space and Rescue Team at Sharonville Ford. After Ray retired from Ford Motor Co. he followed his passion for conceald carry rights and obtained his NRA CCW Instructor's Certification. He went on to teach safety and helped hundreds of others obtain their CCW. Family and friends will be received on Monday, August 15 from 5-8 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Dr., Loveland, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM. Interment Graceland Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to Hospice of Cincinnati.
