IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymond M.
Burbee
June 28, 1936 – February 2, 2026
Raymond M. Burbee, age 89, of Loveland, passed away on February 2, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Patricia (née Brinkman) Burbee; a loving father of Joseph (Deanne) Burbee, Anne (Gregory) Engelhard, and Edward Burbee; and a proud grandfather of Maggie Engelhard, Gregory Engelhard II, Jack Burbee, and Henry Burbee.
Ray was a dear brother of Bonnie (the late Daniel) Sheedy, Cynthia (the late Ron) Wickert, and the late Susan Warren, Thomas (Marcia) Sweeney, and Paulette (James) Powers. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, David Warren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edna (née Confer) and Joseph Burbee, and his stepmother, Rilla (née Weiskittel) Burbee.
Ray was a soccer coach in Loveland for many years, coaching first his daughter and later his granddaughter. Through his dedication, patience, and love of the game, he helped shape and influence countless young lives. He supported his son Ed with his music and Joe with his boy scouts and golf too. He cherished spending his winters in South Padre Island with his wife, Patricia, where he made many friends and could often be found singing songs and dancing at Boomerang Billies. Back home, Ray was a regular at Montgomery Inn, where every Friday night he gathered with a beloved group of friends to enjoy dinner, cocktails, and dance the night away.
Known for his joy, energy, and zest for life, Ray truly lived with enthusiasm until the very end. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday, February 21 from 4-7 PM in the Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 129 N. Riverside Ave., Loveland. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 23 at 12 PM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 8815 E. Kemper Rd., Cincinnati. Entombment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
