Ramon Smith of Blanchester, OH. Went home to be with the Lord on July 11, 2023, at the age of 81. Born on August 15, 1941, in Knox County, KY.

Beloved husband of 59 years to Edna Mae (nee Harris) Smith. Loving father of Sheila (Steve) Turner, Lee (Mary) Smith, Ella (Bob) Sandlin, Dearl Smith and Brian (Jackie) Smith. Caring grandfather of Amanda (Michael) Rolland, James (Brittany) Brock, Steven (Caitlin) Turner, Austin Turner, Jessica (Blake) Browning, Bobby (Bekah) Sandlin, Brandon Sandlin and Dakota Smith. Proud great-grandfather of Kaylee Rolland, Weston Rolland, Corbin Brock, Marley Brock, Connor Ramon Brock, Carley Brock, Caiden Turner, Parker Sandlin, Ava Sandlin and Myla Sandlin. Dear brother of General (Phyllis) Smith, Nora Rogers and the late Lewis Smith. Brother-in-law of Irma Smith. Cherished son of the late James and Lula Smith. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and many dear friends.

Ramon was a Pastor for 38 years at Blanchester Pentecostal Holiness Church. Throughout his ministry he touched and blessed so many lives. He also helped support young ministers in their work for the Lord. Ramon was the root of several other small churches.

Friends will be received from 5 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, July 13 at Tufts Schildmeyer Funeral Home, 1668 St. Rt. 28, Goshen, where services will be held at 1 PM on Friday, July 14. Pastor Michael Rolland officiating.

Interment, Blanchester I.O.O.F Cemetery.
